Retail Operations Supervisor

The Retail Operations Supervisor role is a creative, hands on job, working across all areas of the Retail department including our two Shops, Warehouse and Ecommerce.

We are looking for someone with a creative background with experience in retail and visual merchandising.

In this role you will be responsible to the Retail Manager & Chief Operating Officer.

The job role includes

  • Managing the day-to-day running of the Warehouse

  • Accepting deliveries

  • Checking deliveries against delivery notes

  • Pricing & putting deliveries away

  • Allocating stock to the Shops and Ecommerce departments

  • Organising and managing the upkeep of the Warehouse

  • Driving daily replenishment of stock to the Shops

  • Managing stock allocation to the Shops & Ecommerce dept through the Epos system

  • Supporting the Retail Manager with quarterly stocktakes in all areas of the Retail Department

  • Managing faulty product and processing wastages through the Epos system

  • Working with the Ecommerce Supervisor in busy periods to help with picking, packing & sending out orders

  • Working alongside the Visual Merchandiser with stock placement to implement strong visual standards in both Shops.

  • Ensuring all new stock lines are in both Shops

  • Making the shops look visually strong through Visual Merchandising

  • Ensuring both Shop floors & stockrooms are fully stocked

  • Creating new exciting displays

  • Managing stock rotation and date checks

  • Supporting the Creative Manager with window and Christmas displays

  • Supporting the team on the shop floor during busy periods, including using the till and implementing strong customer service

  • Serving customers during busy periods or lunch cover

  • Supporting staff with any stock or customer service needs

Job Type: Full time Permanent position

Schedule: 5 days a week - an average of 35 hours per week (includes some weekends)
