Garden accolades!

The World of Beatrix Potter™ Attraction is proud to announce that it has received two prestigious accolades at this year’s Cumbria in Bloom and Windermere in Bloom awards, recognising the charm of the Peter Rabbit™ Garden, the sustainable growing in the Kitchen Garden, and our exceptional floral Shop displays.

Head Gardener Florence was delighted to accept the Cumbria in Bloom Tourism Silver Gilt Award and the Windermere in Bloom Commercial Trophy Award on behalf of the Attraction.

Judging for both awards took place earlier this summer, when three judges visited the Attraction in Bowness for a guided tour. They explored the various aspects of our gardens before visiting the Kitchen Garden to see how we grow salad crops organically to supply the Peter Rabbit Café.

Flo was highly commended by the judges for her creative use of homegrown flowering plants in the Peter Rabbit Garden and for her dedication to promoting the Attraction’s strong sustainability ethos throughout the gardens.
